Week 3: Siberia

Before Thanksgiving, we twirled the globe and landed on the southern border of Russia, near Mongolia.  Upon closer inspection, we discovered that we had landed in the Siberian Federal District near the city of Irkutsk.  Any dinner ideas?  We need them by Friday.

  1. The only Mongolian cuisine I am familiar with is called shashlik, which is similar to shish-kebab, From what I remember from Lonely planet, the meat/skewer is marinated, then grilled, but is rarely refridgerated. Therefore, you should only eat it if it is grilled in front of you.
I made the Algerian carrots the other night. Crazy good.
